  6. A few days ago, I was bringing both my cat and my dog to the vet. Somehow, in my infinite wisdom, I decided it was a good idea to try juggling a cat carrier, an anxious dog on a leash, and a large iced coffee all at once. Predictably, chaos ensured. My dog (who HATES the vet) bolted, the leash wrapped around my ankles, and I went flying. I flailed in the air and somehow managed to land in a Spider-Man like pose clutching my cat carrier with my coffee balanced perfectly on top. Before I could even begin to dissect what had just happened to me, I heard a slow clapping. One of the vet employees (who I guessed arrived in the parking lot at the same time) I did had witnessed my “performance.” She looked at me and said: “nice landing. Do you practice that or is it a natural talent?” I was both mortified and proud. I laughed so hard I almost dropped everything again, and she offered to help me carry my stuff. Turns out her name was Leila. She helped me wrangle my dog, cat, and coffee with no judgment. Would definitely recommend. Five stars. September 2025.

  11. Omg ! How can I even sum up what this vets office has done for my dog Lucy and our family. Every single lady up front are all an absolute pleasure to work with. Dr. Whittington got my dog through truly the scariest health crisis we’ve ever had. He gave me his personal phone number ( which I bet he regrets since I still use it. lol ) he kept her daily in the back to see observation. But mostly he shared so much care and concern for me and her. I’ve never seen a vet or vet team truly love and care for animals more than they do.

They instruct you on the what, the why and the how they take care of your pets and people who accompany the animals. Dr. Paul has a special heart for this work as does Dr. AK and all those who serve with and beside them in the task of loving and nursing the animals to healthy and long service oriented lives.   19. We recently had to bring our cat Simba to Whittington. He seemed to be in some kind of distress. They didn't make us wait, put us in a room right away and was seen right away. Very caring and compassionate. We ended up having to leave him overnight. They were very good at informing us of his progress. Definitely recommend! Not only did I receive a call from Dr. Casi after Sophie's dental cleaning but also a follow up call the next day from Michelle and i thought WOW! Their love is real for our fur babies. I have always received exceptional service from incredibly helpful, personable, and knowledgeable doctors that are genuinely caring and patient at explaining any conditions and options or answering questions. I have come to know and trust everyone on the entire staff through the years as they are well informed, experienced, always friendly, patient, helpful, and genuinely treat every animal as their own. From minor visits, to compassionate care making your fur baby comfortable while allowing you time with them to grieve as they transition to the next life, to all hands on deck for a walk in needing emergency treatment.
