Our Story
In April 2009, Dr. Paul Whittington purchased the building and assets of Prejean Veterinary Clinic and founded Whittington Veterinary Clinic. He invited his longtime friend and colleague, Dr. Casi Alleman, to join him in building a practice rooted in expert care, open communication, and genuine compassion.
Together, Dr. Paul and Dr. Casi have proudly served Vermilion and surrounding parishes with comprehensive veterinary care for both small and large animals—including cattle and deer. Their shared commitment to excellence and heartfelt connection with clients sets Whittington apart.
In July 2023, Dr. Anne Katherine Landry joined the team as a small animal associate, bringing her own warmth and dedication to our growing practice. In 2025, we welcomed Dr. Griffin Dyson, expanding our ability to provide outstanding care to more pets and families in our community.
In 2026, Whittington Veterinary Clinic continued to grow with the acquisition of Bradley-Southside Veterinary Hospital. After more than 40 years of serving Vermilion Parish, Dr. Kim Bradley joined the WVC team, along with members of his Southside staff.
Bringing our two veterinary families together allows us to build on decades of trusted local care while welcoming familiar faces and new families to WVC. Together, we look forward to serving the animals and people of our community for many years to come.
